During the summer of 2013, Alexis' friend Krystl called her after happy hour to tell her that she met the perfect person for her! Unaware of what was about to unfold, Alexis showed up without expectations for a fun night out country line dancing with the potential of meeting someone new. Mike walked in and Alexis immediately was taken back by him. Mike met Alexis and knew there was something different about her. Amazing conversations that night led to a first date, which led to spending as much time as possible together over the next 7ish months while Mike was in town for work.

OUR STORY
While Mike traveled a lot for work, they continued their long-distance relationship for 5 years falling deeper in love; flying back and forth from Florida to Philly on weekends, holidays, and any time they could squeeze in between until finally moving in together in 2019 to Miami Beach!
While Alexis might have doubted that Mike “had a plan” – he did all along. In 2021, they added to their love a full-of-energy red lab pup name Gus-Gus. Soon after, Mike proposed to Alexis in a beautiful, intimate setting at Vizcaya Gardens and she said yes! As their story continues on Dec. 3rd, they can’t wait for you to come down to a special place in the keys to celebrate with them!

Crazy to think over 25 years of friendship - I first met Jen A. on the first day of 6th Grade after transferring to a new school. Our friendship started of as lots of sleepovers, made up dances to the backstreet boys in her basement and me constantly singing all the wrong lyrics in the car to shop at the mall but turned quickly into lifetime full of so many memories. Jen is the MOST motivating, hard working, rockstar boss babe there is!! She has always been such a huge inspiration to me in so many ways.

Also over 25 years of friendship and meeting for the first time in 6th Grade! Mary and I first shared a love for horses with riding summer camp and quickly became close friends through it all! All the long drives throughout High School in the focus, countless Goodnoe's ice cream dates, college visits, and traveling through Europe together with Ali. Mary has a determination like no other, if there is a will you better believe Mary WILL find a way and then ultimately get you the best VIP seats in a tent during Oktoberfest in Germany.

Ali and I met first met in High School. In over 18 years of friendship - we've had ridiculous high school sleepovers, traveled together throughout Europe with Mary, planned visits to WVU to visit her in college and so much more. Ali's passion, caring and kindness is unmatched! She is always there anytime or for anything and will forever always be around to scream MEMORIES and make us all take in the moment.

I first met Krystl in high school and we quickly became friends. We went from driving home blasting dance music in high school to blasting country music to weekly line dances at the bar with everything in between. We've shared a love of Halloween, Rocky Horror, Disney, living room line dance lessons and long distance workouts. Krystl brings the party where ever she goes with her up for anything fun, and positive attitude! Fun fact: She is the one who found and introduced Mike to Alexis.

I've known Brittany through Krystl & Brittany's husband but our friendship really started one random visit down to Wildwood, Mike's first Jersey shore pork roll & cheese experience. We became fast friends, running/workout buddies, living room dancers, crazy nights kicked out of bars, and almost neighbors. Brittany is the funniest person I know & guaranteed to make you laugh till you cry while having the best random night ever. Just don't challenge her to anything, her competitiveness will push you to be better but ultimately she'll beat you ... especially on a barefoot run home from the bar bet.

Jamie is not only one of my future sister-in-laws, but has become a great friend! Jamie & Mike share such a special bond and have always been very close - there isn't anything that they wouldn't do for each other. She is also extremely caring, welcoming, has a big heart and is always willing to help! Self-proclaimed 'Wedding Consultant - WC' she has been there more times than I can count to bounce plenty of wedding ideas or hear me vent. Despite the long distance to WI and only a couple of times a year we visit I truly feel close to her like a sister. I feel very lucky to now have an additional 4 new soon to be sisters in my life!
